They were a diverse group of believers called to do life together, and yet they did not know how to put the pieces of their lives together to form a greater and healthier whole. How could so many different pasts, hurts, dreams, goals, passions, and histories come together to live well? To live full, and to live complete?
In the book of 1 Corinthians, the apostle Paul shows his dear love for the believers by stepping into their messy and broken lives to help address specific issues. Paul is going to show the Corinthians how the Holy Spirit and the Truth of the Gospel fills in the gaps and mends brokenness, making them more beautiful than before. He will explain how they can be made complete, both individually and as the church. And this same guidance Paul provides the Corinthians, also speaks directly to our lives as well!
