A message comes from the Lord to His prophet Obadiah. We do not know much about this man except the meaning of his name,“Servant of Yahweh”, or servant of the one true God. Obadiah’s obedience comes as he shares God’s Words to Israel about one of their most hated enemies, the Edomites. Once part of God’s family, these people turned their backs on their Creator, choosing a path of destruction and pain. We will join along with the Israelites to witness what will happen when anyone leaves God’s family never to return. Let’s go to this brief book together to see what wisdom we can find.

This one week, five day study of the book of Obadiah is designed to help you engage with God through His Word, as well as connect and grow within a community. Each day comes equipped with discussion/discipleship questions for you to use personally, in a discipleship relationship, or within a group.
